On December 22, 2015 the project's “Stand hard, Work Bravely!” finishing event took place. Due to the the European Economic Area’s Finance Instrument’s programme “NGO Foundation” sub programme “Non-governmental organisations' working support programme” in the period from 2009 to 2014 the Riga Latvian Society  implemented the project “Stand Hard, Work Bravely!” for three years (from July 16, 2013 until December 31, 2015) No. 2012.EEZ/DAP/MAC/068/1/NAC/054. During the project implementation its aim to provide stable and long-term Riga Latvian Soci-ety’s development and successful work to promote civil society, social justice and democratic processes in Latvia was achieved.

During the finishing event all the participants, project's cooperation partners and implementers discussed the works done during these three years and the Riga Latvian Society Chairman Guntis Gailitis in a ceremonious speech thanked the present participants for the achieved works. The project's leader Jânis Briedis, RLS Office Manager Stella Lîpîte and RLS Deputy Chairwoman Gaida Jablovska awarded the project's cooperation partners and active project's participants for the long-term and high quality cooperation and work.

We would like to thank all the people, who participated in the implementation of the project. Small ideas become huge in common work and we wish that the title of the project “Stand Hard, Work Bravely!” materializes also in your personal lives!
