Association’s of Latvians in Sweden Stockholm Section unites Latvians living in Stockholm and Melero Valley.
The ZLA Stockholm Section’s aim is to unite Latvians of all generations living in Middle Sweden, gather them in common events, giving opportunity to keep interest about Latvian cultural and society events. ZLA Stockholm Section supports all, who wish to work actively and develop Latvian community’s life in Middle Sweden, as well as publish the most important information about the topicalities of the community’s life in Middle Sweden in the ZLA home page and other media.
The Society uses the financing gained from the member fees, Sweden State’s benefits and voluntary donations for its events and given support.
The Board consisting of 7 people leads the ZLA Stockholm Section. In 2015 the Board Chairwoman of the ZLA Stockholm Section is Sarmîte Bûmane.
