The vocal group “Putni” was founded in 1993. It consists of 8 singers women, who have obtained their proficiency by singing in Latvian professional choirs and vocal groups (State’s Academic Choir “Latvija”, Latvian Radio Choir, chamber choir “Ave Sol”, Riga’s Vocal Group, “Marana”, etc.), as well as performing as soloists and conductors in different musical projects.

In 2011 the vocal group „Putni” won the 1st place in the contest „Florilege Vocal de Tours” in France in homogeneous staffs’ group.
