Concert introducing the Latvian Proclamation anniversary

The Riga Latvian Society and the Riga Latvian Society Music Commission invite the interesents to the Latvian Proclamation anniversarys introductory concert God Bless that will take place on November 14, 2015 at 16.00 in the Riga Latvian Society House Big Hall.
Participate: Gita Rebeka Dirveika soprano, Artis Muižnieks tenor, baritone, Laura Balabane, Lelde Rasnace, Jana Zelmene, Zigurds Teikmanis piano, Jāzeps Mediņš Riga Music Secondary School Mixed choir, conductor Jānis Baltiņš and Uldis Kokars, Jāzeps Mediņš Riga Music Secondary School symphonic orchestra, conductor Pēteris Plūme. The introductory words by the musicologist, Riga Latvian Society Music Commission Chairman Arvīds Bomiks.
In the programme: compositions of Baumaņu Kārlis (1835 1905), Emīls Dārziņš (1875 1910) and Jānis Mediņš (1890 1966).
