CLUB „KNOWN IN THE UNKNOWN” INVITES IN MAY
What and why bloom in spring and not only in spring?

On Thursday, May 29, at six o’clock in the evening club “Known in the Unknown” invites to the last meeting in this season. The theme this time is corresponding to the season – about flowers and their florescence. We will find out what and why bloom in spring and not only in spring?

Latvian Nature Foundation’s expert, botanist Ivars Kabucis will reveal why do flowers bloom and, moreover, smell so nice, and biology doctor Brigita Laime will tell about plants’ life in city environment.

The club, as always, will be lead by the radio broadcast’s „Known in the Unknown” journalist Sandra Kropa.

Club’s „Known in the Unknown” meetings take place once a month at the Riga Latvian Society.  The club has already gathered people to different interesting themes: human’s anatomy, handwritings and their research methods, science in everyday life, Latvians and bread.

The new season club “Known in the Unknown” will start in autumn.

All are welcome!
